Community Reintegration

Practical support for people returning to the community after custody to rebuild routines, access services and work towards a stable daily life.

Community & Transitions

Returning to the community can involve immediate tasks alongside longer-term goals. Support helps the person identify priorities, keep track of appointments and establish routines that make daily life more manageable. Relevant agency conditions and the boundaries of Bellox’s role are clarified at intake. Work can be coordinated with housing, health and employment services, while statutory supervision remains with the agency responsible for it.

Support may include

  • Individual reintegration planning and practical mentoring
  • Links with housing, health, education and employment services
  • Support to prepare for appointments and community activities
  • Coordination with authorised caseworkers and agreed support networks
